Dato' Sri (Dr.) Mohd Hilmey Mohd Taib

Dato’ Sri (Dr.) Mohd Hilmey Mohd Taib serves as Non-Independent Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of HeiTech Padu Bhd since May 2, 2013. He was Executive Chairman of the Board from August 5, 1994 to May 2, 2013. He also serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) since September 2006. He was appointed as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of UMP Holdings Berhad, a company wholly owned by UMP in 2014. Prior to joining HeiTech, he held several leadership positions in Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB). The last position held in PNB was as the Group Chief Executive from 1995 to 1997. He also held several directorships in other companies such as Malayan Banking Berhad, Kuala Lumpur Kepong Berhad, KFC Holdings Berhad, Maxis Communications Berhad, Pasdec Holdings Berhad, Software Alliance (M) Sdn Bhd, Padusoft Sdn Bhd, Educational Trend Sdn Bhd, Motordata Research Consortium Sdn Bhd, Padujade Corporation Sdn Bhd, Ecomex PalmOil (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, MSCL Sdn Bhd, Royal Mint Exchange Sdn Bhd and KIC Oil & Gas Ltd (Labuan), and several other companies.

Dato’ Sri (Dr.) Mohd Hilmey Mohd Taib is a Chartered Accountant and a Member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA). He possesses Bachelors of Economics and a Diploma in Accounting from University of Malaya. He also holds a Master of Business Administration Degree from Cranfield Institute of Technology UK (now Cranfield University) and Master of Science in Management and Strategic Entrepreneurship from Nottingham Trent University.

Haji Basharuddin Saad began his career as an officer in utility company and cooperative bank prior to joining Petronas Group in September 1980 as an accountant. He served as Senior Manager, of Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd from 1990 to 1996 and General Manager, Finance of Petronas Gas Berhad from 1996 to 2004. He retired as General Manager, Corporate and Commercial Services of Petronas Gas Berhad in September 2009. Over a period of 29 years with the Petronas Group he assumed various positions within Exploration and Production, Retail Marketing and Gas businesses, and at General Manager and Senior Manager level oversee portfolios which includes finance and accounting, commercial and marketing, contracting and procurement, risk management and company secretarial duties of a listed entity. He also served on two of subsidiary companies board. Haji Basharuddin also provided leadership role for KOPETRO Berhad, (Cooperative Society) over a period of 8 years holding positions of Chairman, Vice Chairman and Treasurer at various intervals.

Haji Basharuddin Saad is currently an advocate & solicitor and syarie counsel with Basharuddin Faizie Iskandar. He was appointed to the Board of Pelaburan MARA Berhad on 2nd February 2012. He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants. He holds a Degree in Law from the University of London and Certificate of Legal Practice from Qualifying Board Malaysia and Diploma in Syariah Legal Practice from International Islamic University, Malaysia

Tn Haji Ahmad Zakie Ahmad Shariff, began his career as an accounting lecturer in the Faculty of Business Management, UKM in 1980 where he taught upon his return from the USA, Master of Accounting Science degree from the University of Illinois, Urbana- Champaign, Illinois, USA and a Bachelor of Economics (Hons) degree from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Bangi, Malaysia. He is presently the Executive Chairman of Kuber Ventures Berhad, an investment company investing in business opportunities across many industries.

Throughout his industrious career journey too, he held many critical portfolios such as in Perbadanan Menteri Besar Kelantan (PBMK), FA Securities Sdn Bhd, Federation of Investment Managers Malaysia (FIMM), Maybank Group, UEM Group Berhad, Rashid Hussain Securities, Smith Zain Securities Penang, Permodalan Terengganu Berhad Asset Management and SJ Securities Sdn. Bhd. He has been involved in the capital market for most of his career and is also well experienced in the segment of human capital management.

YBhg. Dato’ Mohd Zafir Ibrahim obtained his Master in Information Technology and B.A. Hons (Islamic Studies), both from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in 2003. He also holds a Diploma in Public Administration from the National Institute of Public Administration. YBhg. Dato’ Mohd Zafir started his career in the civil service as an administrative and diplomatic (PTD)
officer and currently holds the position of Deputy Division Secretary (Transformation) / Chief Value Innovation Officer (CVIO) at the Strategic Corporate and Communications Division in the Ministry of Finance.

His expansive knowledge and experience in public service and Information Technology bodes well for the with the direction of the company to gain a better insight into the financial management, quality, transformation and innovation programmes pertaining to the Government’s aspiration on ICT initiatives, and benefited from that.

YH. Professor Dato’ Dr. Yuserrie Zainuddin holds a Ph.D (UKM, Malaysia), Master in Commerce (Hons) (Wollongong, Australia) and B.Soc.Sc (Hons) (USM, Malaysia). He had served Universiti Malaysia Pahang since 2009 and currently hold a position of Deputy Vice- Chancellor (Student Affairs & Alumni).

He possessed an extensive experience in governance, business and organisational transformation, financial management and business strategic planning of which the Company can capitalise in strengthening in that respective areas, and bridging it back to contribute to the development of the university.

Professor Dr. Shamsuddin Baharin holds a B.Sc (Ferris State, USA), M.Sc (Michigan, USA), PhD (Warwick, UK) and had served Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) since 2009. He holds a position of Assistant Vice Chancellor, Corporate Development & Quality Management Centre in UMP. Prior to this, he was with the industry with more than 25 productive years of experience with the giants in its respective area, such as Proton Holdings Berhad, Sapura Industrial Berhad and Mitsui Construction Co. Ltd.

He also previously served in university’s and University Holding company (UHC)’s Board of Director, such as Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn, UMK Business Ventures Sdn. Bhd. and UiTM Holdings Sdn. Bhd. His wealth exposure in company start-up, joint ventures, restructuring, mergers and strategic planning will greatly contribute towards the
expansion plan of the Company.

Dato’ Dzulkifli Mahmud started his career with the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) in 1981, and was the former CEO of MATRADE, an agency under the ministry. Prior to that appointment in June 2015, he was the Deputy CEO of MATRADE, Senior Director of the Exporters Development Division MATRADE, Senior Trade Commissioner for the Gulf Cooperation Councils, and the Consul and Trade Commissioner of the Consulate of Malaysia in Milan.

He holds a Bachelor’s in Economics from the University of Malaya and a graduate degree in public management from the Institute of Public Administration Malaysia.

Wan Yusoff bin Wan Hamat was part of Petronas for more than 27 years (’77 to ’04), held ascending leadership positions in various refining and petrochemical developments wholly owned by Petronas and Joint Ventures with leading international and multinational corporate entities.

He was also part of MISC for 7 year as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Malaysia Shipyard and Engineering Sdn. Bhd. (MSE) / MHB 2004 until 2011.
